“MOMA , THIS IS WHAT THE BLOGS SHOULD SHOW U!!!!!”-M.I.A

So I was sitting in bed Sunday morning, yes strange (I’m never up until Sunday afternoon generally) and I was looking online like what the hell am I going to do Miz Metro Mondayz on this week, and in my myspace surfing on Santogold’s page and i saw M.I.A’s profile pic, and was like what the hell does she have on- shes glowing (quite literally). I clicked on her profile picture, and there was a photo album entitled “MOMA , THIS IS WHAT THE BLOGS SHOULD SHOW U!!!!!” and I was like word, I’ll post that on the blog- making my Sunday a whole lot easier. So in MIA’s own words, the pictures from her very own album with her subtitles. I did a little research on the show, and she performed at this big fancy benefit at MOMA sharing the bill with Mos Def earlier this month, apparently the cheapest ticket was $250- so I don’t know if the “SUM LIFE” background was a little commentary on her crowd, but M.I.A is definitely more then just a musical artist, she is a multi-media artist in her own way. There she glows, in more ways then one.

“THE WORLD SHOULD VOTE FOR THE U.S PRESIDENT ! ” ( Reads on her Myspace page heading)

“MY HAND MADE DRESS, IS THE FUTURE, THIS IS WHAT IM DOING RIGHT NOW”

“THIS IS WHAT THE BLOGS SHOULD TALK ABOUT, THAT’S WHY THERE IS SO LITTLE CREATIVITY IN ART AND MUSIC!”

“SUM FUCKING LIFE, THIS IS THE BACKDROP TO MY SHOW I DESIGNED JUST FOR THIS SHOW!”

“A LIGHT EXPERIENC3″

or her very energetic website: www.miauk.com

So in the off chance that you actually see this MIA, someone was listening : )

  1. [...] M.I.A designed a crazy set and this dress for a show she did at MOMA, she posted some pictures on her myspace and said “MOMA, This is what the blogs should show you” so I did. To check out the original post click here: “MOMA , THIS IS WHAT THE BLOGS SHOULD SHOW U!!!!!”-M.I.A [...]
