I’m talking about the clothing label Chief&Mischief.

What happens when you take two people- one a music lover /party promoter - Brandon Downer -working in finance with a burning desire to be in fashion- great eye, and super stylish-  mix that with a fashion student- Caroline Dickie-  finishing up a degree in Fashion styling and working for an agency and thrust into making clothes- doing design work– they both meet–  it’s love at first sight both creatively and passionately and one moves to Japan, the other stays in NY but they keep in touch daily and email a million times with ideas/thoughts and everything else under the sun….Well, the former moves the latter to Tokyo and they live happily after– well– they spawn CHIEF&MISCHIEF-  not exactly the kids you had in mind- but a beautiful colorful label with men and women in mind and all clothing- made with impeccable design and eye for texture, color, innovation.  Clothing is all hand painted one of a kind prints.

Chief&Mischief

They just rolled out their Spring ‘08 collecton and sent me out a whole box to give to my cool friends and for a few giveaways at parties.

Brandon obviously hasn’t lost the zest for parties and therefore every month does his party and DJ’s in Tokyo and on special occasions will be flying in certain promoters/dj’s and artists(hint hint- hopefully he’s flying me there soon….Anyway- DJ CAT NYC was just there doing her Pussy Party which I heard was a zoo and the Japanese fans just couldn’t get enough…

Speaking of which-  DJ CAT NYC will be DJ’ing a cool party for me at Beauty Bar on Tuesday, August 19th for the new release by Carrie Borzillo-Vrenna called CHERRY BOMB

So here’s a taste of some of Chief&Mischief oh and btw-  I’m the Chief Chick in NYC!
