What up- it’s your girl Miz Metro, always keeping you on the pulse of what’s hot- and who’s about to pop- well this week, your truly is rocking at Crash Mansion this Saturday August 16th at 8pm. I will be backed by my 7 piece hip hop soul urban gypsy circus band: “The Makebelieves” and will be debuting a brand new song with special guest Crosby. I performed on FOX 5′s Fearless T.V earlier this summer and won the viewers pole for best performance, people all over the US and Brazil got to see us on the tube, come check us out up close and personal in NYC! I am blessed with some deep musicians, and we’re getting ready to record my debut album entitled: “Miz Metro-The Manhattan Makeblieve” this October at East Side Sound Studios with 2 time grammy award winning engineer Marc Urselli. 2008 has truly been great so far, and it just keeps coming.
Going back in the vault, check out this video Kate Freer made for me of “All the Way” A song from my “Urban Gypsy Circus” project with Dru Klein- This shoot was crazy, I had 8 costume changes on the pier of Conney Island, with a bunch of old perverts trying to watch me change- anything to get the shot, lol- i come from a theater background so nothing phases me at this point
