What a weekend! I saw some incredible performances, it all started with THE BEATARDS on Friday night at Flavorpill’s “The Pull Out” party @ Rehab. I first met these boys from performing at the Mixtape Riot Party’s they threw w/Fiona Bloom and Jewels Kim-which they performed and hosted at as well. Taking a break from throwing the Mixtape Riot parties to focus on developing their music, The Beatards live performance on Friday night was one of the best I have seen by any act in quite sometime, the hard work is paying off. They were more then entertaining, they were electric-the three individual personalities of THE BEATARDS, D.J O, Chuck Wild, and UTK each bring something special to the stage, the combination is fierce and hilarious. I would call them extremely well crafted goof balls, your laughing one second and then they get you thinking the next. You’ll have to just see them for yourself, here are a few pictures I took ( besides this first one, which was taken by CROSBY)

The weekend just got crazier as it went along. I woke up to a phone call on Saturday morning that Crash Mansion got shut down for underage drinking, and had to stay closed for the weekend!! Meaning, my show at Crash Mansion was canceled!!! Luckily John from Consider the Source was able to rescue the night by relocating the show to Mehanata The Bulgarian Bar on Ludlow ( home of Go Go Bordello and Balkan Beat Box) the night ended up being intimate and wonderful, Consider the Source Killed it, and all the bands were on fire. More to come on that show next week, still developing the pictures and videos and such.
