I am starting to compile a list of all the great talented Soul artists across the world in hopes to eventually produce a big festival– how cool would that be? SOUL IN BLOOM or some hot name!!!

I have come across great artists from Sweden like Stephen Simmonds, Kissey Asplund, to Seven in Switzerland, to Live Tropical Fish in Italy, to Ivana Santilli and Ayah in Toronto to Alice Russell and Omar in U.K to SOHA in France and the list goes on and on and I’m barely scraping the surface- but it’s one of my dreams– bring them all together!!!

With that said- I had to get that off my chest– and now– Drumroll!!!!

Big ups to Terry Bello- He’s put together a fabulous program of soul performances- workshops, panels and networking sessions during the International Soul Summit. This is the 3rd year and it takes place in Atlanta. Sept 11-14th at The Renaissance Hotel– In fact- I have 5 artists participating.

Abby Dobson, Wayna, April Hill, Melissa Young and Heston.

This Friday- LA’s Strictly Social comes to Atlanta in part of the programming for Soul Summit.

Djangos- 9PM- It’s going to be a hot line up….

I encourage you all to come down to Atlanta this weekend if you’re a Soul Music Lover….Let’s bring this Soul Movement to the forefront of Pop Culture or at least give it the attention, resources and recognition it deserves– let’s do it for the artists– we need your help….
