You been hearing Heston’s name for a while. Or perhaps you’ve heard a song ‘ Good Morning America’ or ‘Radio’ or ‘Brand New You’ which was one of most successful downloads on Soultracks.
Perhaps you haven’t heard his name at all- but you will soon….His debut album ‘ Storyteller‘ has been critically praised- it took him almost four years to complete and it’s quite a masterpiece and well worth the wait. He’s been performing in the South and a few stints up North….He’s also back in the studio laying down pre-production for his 2nd full length.
He’s managed by Muddy Water which is quietly becoming a multi-service management company catering to the Soul Genre specifically. Their biggest artist is Anthony David who is nominated for a Grammy…Exciting!
So Heston’s ‘Storyteller’ is now available in Europe in March through Dome Records. Also released in Japan end of the month. Like most artists- Heston has been very much moved and inspired by the changes in this Country. So much so he’s written a song that he’s recording with 50 kids singing the hook in the spirit of ‘We Are The World’. It’s called ‘ CHANGE’. Can’t wait to hear it. He’s recording with these kids at 11am sharp tomorrow/Saturday at 800 East Studios. 800 East Avenue..
He’s also speaking on a songwriters panel tomorrow afternoon- The Dynamic Producer Conference. 3PM at Residence Inn Marriot..Peachtree St.
