I love the Strictly Social crew I do! Bigs to DJ Destroyer and Norman of Nu-Soul Magazine. Strictly Social produces parties/showcases in progressive soul/edgy urban music once a month in LA. They have compilations and also a great blogsite and we’ll be bringing S.S back to NY…We debuted it here last year in Summer at SUTRA and the place was packed to the gills! Look for Strictly Social NYC to be Strictly Sick in April/May….

So we had a nice meet and greet for the Urban Alternative Grammy category which Maiysha, Wayna and Kokayi hosted. Drink specials. Held at Blue Velvet Lounge. We had a great turn out. TV Guide came through and followed Maiysha and Wayna around. Blue Velvet Lounge is hot- they have a pool and really dope seating interior- you’ll have to check it to see what I mean… It was good to see Armand Tulumello, Lauren from Next Aid, Lisa F, Mystic, The Angel, Marlon Regis, Kristi Lomax, Karma Stewart who I love musically and many others.

We hung there for a bit and then Wayna had to run off to perform at J Dilla benefit in Baldwin Hills! I ended up having dinner with my dear friend actress/model Lisa F.
