What a weekend. New York City, street brawls, sweet music, summer is here! It’s only going to get hotter so lets all save our complaining for when it gets REALLY hot, either way it got heated this Sunday night. I have a bad temper, and really lost it this sunday night on St. Marks Place, it wasn’t worth it- it never is, but I was not in the mood and some random large girl on the street started a fight with me, calling me “a stupid cracker bitch” and let’s put it this way, it was on. What started with verbal confrontation turned into a nasty street fight when the girl ran up on me and pulled my hair-we were brawling for a minute, it got pretty ugly, luckily I’m fine- not sure if the other girl is holding up quite as well.
Let’s just say it’s not a good idea to call me a “cracker bitch”, I am a little crazy and I refuse to be intimated-I’m sorry to say but I don’t think this girl would have run up on me if I wasn’t in her mind just some white girl on the street, who she probably thought was just going to get shook. Well white girls can fight too, and people should think twice before they get up in anyone’s personal space. I’ve dealt with reverse racism my entire life growing up playing basketball uptown, always the minority-dealing with unnecessary hate. It’s not cute, and violence is not the answer- but I’ve dealt with too much B.S in this city, sometimes we crack-and if you have the audacity to touch me, it’s over! Dealing with idiots is part of city living I suppose, I’m Miz Metro what can I say- if provoked, I’ll throw down! Maybe if I had made it to yoga that day I would have walked away, I need to channel my inner stillness from now on.

CALLING ALL BASKETBALL PLAYERS! This Sat May 30th at Marcy Projects Playground it’s going down! Basketball Tournament to raise money to send a very special little girl,Chanty to school in Cambodia. 100% of the money raised goes straight towards her tuition.
