It was very intense having the music video shoot for “Trashion” on the night of MJ passing away last Thursday. The first thing I did was call my Aunt Bernadette who’s the biggest Michael Jackson fan I know, no answer- she couldn’t even talk. I had people not be able to come to the shoot because there family was so upset- this man had such a profound effect on our culture, sometimes you don’t realize it until it’s gone. He was a genius, and his legacy will live on in his music- a gift that we can cherish forever.
It’s been so refreshing this weekend to be able to actually watch music videos on MTV, VH1 and BET- it was really nice to see the alternative programming, I wish they would go back to actually playing music videos all the time. Speaking of music videos, the shoot for “TRASHION” went great! Come to SOB’s JULY 8TH 7-8-09 for the world premiere! CROSBY and I filmed little music video for Dollar Van Demos last month that just aired tonight! It’s filmed in a “Dollar Van” the people in the video are all passengers, who don’t realize they are getting picked up for a free ride and a performance! Check out the Dollar Van Demo Video’s below!
