Sabbo’s New NOIZ

There is so much music being released here in Tel Aviv its becoming difficult to keep up, not for lack of trying however. One of the hottest things happening right now, however, is DJ Sabbo. Not to be confused with Sabo, from NYC!

Sabbo is one of the leading DJ’s and producers coming out of Tel Aviv. When he’s not mixing and producing many other artists here in this great city, he’s working on his own albums or spinning in some of Tel Aviv’s hottest clubs and parties. He is also a huge blogger in the music scene with his own blog on Tel Aviv music, Noiz in Zion, as well as a contributor to Diplo’s Mad Decent blog.

He recently came back from a two month stint in San Francisco where he even played with Diplo and Switch duo, Major Lazer.

Sabbo’s an extremely busy man with one album coming out with 4 person DJ crew, Soulico Crew in September on JDub records, and the recent release of his own EP, “It is the Time” on Israeli label, Botanika Records. The record features vocalists Sabbo has worked with and recorded while living in Jamaica, including vocals from Chicago’s “master blaster” MC Zulu. You can buy the EP here.

The Soulico Crew album that will be released in September is going to be one of the most awaited albums out of Israel this year, let alone this fall! I know I cannot wait for this release. These guys are the mash up kings on the Serrato and have the ability to capture the best beats the ear can imagine.

The album features many famous musical guests including Ghostface Killah and Rye Rye! You can buy two of their singles on Itunes now! Take a listen below…
