So we finally are getting a real taste of Summer…I guess I shouldn’t complain that most of July stayed in 60′s/70′s and I suppose I shouldn’t complain there’s a nice August breeze somewhere:)

Tomorrow night- August 6th……Thursday…Miz Metro at Joe’s Pub….Early show– so 7PM it is….They start on time so no showing up at 7:40PM!
Also on the bill is Mayaan Castel from Boston. She has a nice Reggae vibe to her and is a complimentary fit with Miz Metro.
Then we’re off for 9PM to Bless Roxwell’s ‘She’s So Fresh’ Showcase as seen on Friday’s here…Karma Lounge which is literally down the street- so perfect logistically and timed right after Miz Metro’s/Mayaan’s show…
On ‘She’s So Fresh’ is Lin Que who I absolutely can’t wait to see…It’s been years!

Live At The Jazz BBQ- I came up with this fresh concept of flipping Jazz with other elements of Urban culture- Hip Hop, R&B/Soul, Electronic and Rare Grooves….Featuring an artist’s new release each time and having DJ’s mash up in between the listening session….The artist is also on hand for photo opps, CD signings and meeting folks…
The beauty of these BBQ’s=– low key, great vibes, great music, great energy and most importantly- Slammin BBQ
In fact- the first one we did last month- the consensus was ‘some of the best BBQ we’ve had’.
Also- the spot in Bed Stuy is becoming one of my fave hangs…Great art, fresh fruit drinks, cakes/food and a beautiful garden…Grilling in the garden– BBQ gourmet style and drink specials
