Sorry, but unfortunately the post I wanted to do on the B-girls needs a bit more time to develop. But don’t be too sad, there’s always so much material to write about in Tel Aviv I’m never short of information.

First, Soulico‘s album, Exotic on the Speaker is dropping TODAY!!!! If you haven’t heard any of the tracks (if you have been living under a rock…), I encourage you check it out and BUY THE ALBUM! Its incredible!

If you frequent the Florentin area of Tel Aviv, it’s hard to miss the many characters that seem to be glued to this area.  One in particular looks like your everyday kid: skinny, wears glasses and always with big headphones on his ears, riding his bike really fast through the streets of Florentin.

However, if you were in attendance to the Kid Koala show a few months back, you would understand that this guy is anything but the ordinary Florentin’ian.  DJ Digital_Me was the opening act for Kid Koala and I was blown away.  His touch for dubstep is unbelievably moving and is really one of few that I’ve seen in Tel Aviv that really make this genre of music so great.

He has some regular sets at a few Florentin bars and lately has been working the big party circuit.  I recently was able to see him at the UBK party with Balkan Beat Box, as well as other recent parties.

He’s had quite a few EP’s out which you can buy digitally on his website.  His new EP, The Accordion, is out for free download HERE.

If you are in the Tel Aviv area this Thursday (10/8), check out his FREE release party at Ozen Bar (King George 48) starting at midnight.

Stay tuned for next week, I’ll be joining you with the Onili crew, DJ Egozy, and PILPELED from PARIS!!!!!!! If you are in Paris, check out the party info HERE.
