All I can say is things are happening quickly for Israel’s Terry Poison. Well quickly in the U.S since they never tried breaking into this market until now- LA before CMJ- surprised they never tried before but they always concentrated on Europe and they’re quite big in France!
I looked after them here in U.S- I have to say that in my 16+ year career in the biz- T.P probably the easiest quickest act I’ve been able to spread buzz on- and boy was it fast!
Easy cos the whole package is there from looks, style, music and attitude! They have it all!
Whoever that company is that does that deal or partnerships made from the results of this trip and the effect Terry Poison had on everyone– will be super incredibly lucky!
We had one show planned leading up to night before CMJ- then we had 6 at the hottest spots in NY including Le Poisson Rouge, Highline Ballroom, The Box and Tribeca Grand-- incredible!
They also did super fancy parties in LA for Fashion Week as well as playing the Dim Mak party at Cinespace!
I loved hanging with all 6 members plus videographer/documentary filmmaker and their soundman- oh- can’t forget one of the boyfriend’s of band member too-
Petite, Gili, Louise, Anna, Bruno and Isor- they’re on the way back to Tel Aviv as you read this and I’ll miss them but…the plan is to bring them back- finish off showcases and decide what home they end up in!
End of November..Look for an instore/party at Best Buy- Union Square, some concert dates in NY, Miami, Atlanta, Philly, D.C and possibly Chicago- we’ll see!
