This feels like the summer of concerts. And summer hasn’t even really started yet. Does it count when people really start going to the beach? Either way, its Tel Aviv, the Middle East…where summer seems to stretch forever.
At least a few people are working. Onili and her Secret Project partner, Shaul Eshet have been working really hard on taking their music to the next level. They recently made a new music video for their song, “Fall for You”. It was filmed by Ina Filler, a regular on the Onili crew, as well as edited by the great Gal Muggia.

Ok ok, so I know I’m not really allowed to talk about the new Shimmy Sonic EP, but if he’s posting about his new song, then I think I can too! Entitled, “Her Sexy Ways”. Its really funky and I am really looking forward to the EP!!!! This is the first track from the EP to be titled, “Funktronix”
We have a huge party coming up for all you Tel Avivians reading!!!! The Beatnuts are performing at Comfort this Thursday night with some of our favorites, Ori Shochat and DJ Alarm!

Also for you to know, Boom Pam’s album release party is also at the Comfort coming up soon! June 5th!!!!!! If you want to dance, this is definitely the show to be at. They’ve been touring nonstop. They were with us in SXSW back in Austin and since then they’ve been to Buenos Aires, Argentina, as well as Europe (Germany, Hungary, England).

Tonight is another major holiday for Jews and Israelis alike. Its Shavuot, where we celebrate the giving of the ten commandments. But for me, as a Tel Avivian, I think I’ll eat some great Asian fusion and go see the Secret Project.
