If you haven’t heard of Collette you soon will.
She left her life in S.Carolina to pursue her dreams as an artist, moved to New York last year and hasn’t looked back. I met Collette at a Nu-Soul Series showcase at Frank’s Lounge. It was one of her very first shows in NY- I loved her immediately. Something about her aura, charisma, sense of humour, look and of course the voice! She has something special. I immediately matched her up with The Beatards and a Mixtape Riot show. The chemistry between them was magical– they need to collaborate more- hint hint…
So now– Collette’s at a stage where she has a new project coming out- she’s been busy writing and cooking up new recipes with fresh ingredients she can’t wait to share- However- there’s a small obstacle in the way…Well isn’t it always the case!!! In order to finish this fabulous project which will take her next level– she needs a little bit of cash…Well- as much as she’s able to raise but her immediate goal which will allow her to finish mixing, mastering and releasing is…$3,000….She has until June 1st to raise the finances. If she doesn’t meet the goal she’ll lose all of everything she has raised…So with that said– Let’s help this talented singer/songwriter take it there!
She’s using Kickstarter for the campaign and depending upon the level of commitment the fan will receive a free download of new CD to a private performance in their own home!
