Being home for exactly one month I have taken on many new endeavors, dropped a few new videos and thrown a few more shows. Something that has ranked high on my priority list aside from Fighting for Futures is Premonition’s debut album “The Build”. Now i’m not nearly as Hip Hop savy as some but i’d like to think that my head nods for a reason and my body knows weather to move or not. This deciding for me unconsciously how I rank music. Case and point this album and this artist has what it takes to stay around for the long haul of things, to go down in history leaving his musical mark. With that being said.
I just walked in from the Puerto Rican Day Parade. I was hired to flim behind the scenes for up and coming rapper Skittlez. What I did not realize is that I was going to be walking IN the parade. I must admit if there is one thing I enjoy more then anything is to be dead center in a place I dont fit in. Its one of the reasons I travel. I crave culture, perception & shock. I crave the reality that is not just my own.
So with that being said here are a few pictures as I repped WOLF SQUAD AUTO CLUB AND SKITTLEZ.
LAST NIGHT WAS STUPENDOUS!!! GET CHA MIND FUCK’D PRESENTED BY DOPE LEAGUE was an all day BBq and live show. Cyhpers started reguarly as Marthalicia & Danielle painted away. We ate & networked. ERIC SOSA destroyed his set. JOYA BRAVO reminded us why WE LOVE HER. DOPE SCIENZE left me in Aww and DREMUR went in on both production and his performance. I was surrounded by so much talent and positive energy I was the MIND FUCKED exactly as the shows title suggested.
I also made my PUBLIC debut freestyle appearance last night, I have wanted to for a while and FINALLY found my courage. I even got a few OOOOOOO’SSSSSSS. def encouraging and I think I’ll work on this new craft a lil harder. I mean I do hang out with so of the ILLEST freestylers in our scene so I suppose its only natural to wanna learn MORE.

Now that I’ve shared with you two of my favorite NYC artists onto Madrid!
So the adventure begins. (In case your wondering why I’m out here- I graduated two weeks ago, but I needed to fulfill my language requirement so I did a one month summer program in Madrid! Then next month I’m traveling throughout Europe doing shows!)I arrived in Madrid last Sunday, my senora for the host “family” (which is more of a beautiful boarding apartment run by a sweet feisty widow in the center of the city) speaks ZERO English, and I speak very very little Spanish. Communicating is comedy.
My first showers were taken in freezing cold water because I didn’t know there was a manual heater, and I didn’t know how to ask. I’m always feel hungry out here, because the foods don’t have the same preservatives here, so it gets broken down much quicker. The water pressure is next to nothing, a shower is like a drip- I now understand why they don’t bath as much in Europe : P Culture shock aside, it’s amazing here- I absolutely love it. All the shops shut down in the middle of the day for cestia, from 2-5pm, people go home eat with their family, nap and then go back to work. It’s been a big adjustment to the constant grind of NYC. My sleeping schedule is so screwed, if i nap i can’t sleep, if i don’t nap I’m a zombie, the only answer seems to be more espresso which is fine by me : ) I’m missing all my NYC peeps you are in my heart, but I’m happy to be carving out a place for myself in Europe to come back and build for my whole team! People live to enjoy life over here, not to work and die- it’s a different mentality and it’s very refreshing.

I have a thing for oranges, the one of the left was divine- there are many orange flavored desserts here, I’m in heaven! From a great shop right near the school here

The gelato is divine! The cones are all this shape here, very long and thin!
There are condom machines in the metro stations everywhere, I guess they get down here- and stay safe! It’s night life city-these made me laugh though, never seen one of these back in the states!
This trio was a riot. They were hitting people with their sticks at the famous flea market at the center of Madrid.
These are very popular in Spain, they look eatable.
Fans everywhere! They come in handy it’s HOT and dry over here!
You can’t get huevos (eggs) for breakfast here, but the candy store is filled with them.
last but not least the beloved METRO! The train system is amazing here! Very quick and reliable! I’m trying to figure out how to get my hands on an amp and battery to perform in the Metro over here- there are street performers everywhere, and apparently they don’t have permits- the wheels are turning- I’m on it!

MIZ METRO GRADUATION/EUROPE FAREWELL: INTRODUCING ADRIENNE MACK-DAVIS THURSDAY MAY 27TH ELLA LOUNGE!/BLAME NEW YORK VANCOUVER B.C RECAP & MORE!
Good day! I just got back from Vancouver B.C for part one of BLAME NEW YORK-we had incredible time! Full recap in the second part of this blog. Next Monday I’ll be arriving in Madrid!! I have sooooooooooo much to do this week before I leave for Europe! Please come join me at ELLA lounge this THURSDAY MAY 27TH for my graduation/Europe Farewell party! It’s also my pleasure to introduce Adrienne Mack-Davis! This girl is a powerhouse of a soul singer/M.C with her debut album “MUSIC IN ME: THE PROCESS” produced by Mikey Fresh. The evening also features musical performances by Kosha Dillz who will be debuting his latest music video, along with Kalae All-Day & Andy Smart, and DJ Vinyl Richie will be spinning all night! Oh and there’s NO COVER! So be there!!!
DJ Vinyl Richie, my bassist Sean Lewis, Crosby & I had an absolutely AMAZING time in downtown Vancouver B.C! Many thanks to Jay Peterson for believing in BLAME NEW YORK and making it all possible! We are already planning for the next show in September! Shout out’s to Johnny Dilemma, Zara Taylor, Rod from Live Stock & everyone else we met who made our trip memorable! One of the highlights was finding New Amsterdam cafe, where we went to promote and had quite the adventure. Meeting our opener Johnny was great, can’t wait to come back and hang with him and Zara. Linking up with Zara Taylor was a highlight, she’s one of the biggest trance singers in the world and there is a collaboration in the works there that I’m really looking forward to!
Here’s a visual recap: The root beer selection was divine, and we found all sorts of candy we don’t have back in the states, got my new crossword chucks signed by Zara, & saw our posters all over the street!

MIZ METRO MONDAYZ RETURNS! COLLEGE GRAD! BLAME NEW YORK VANCOUVER DEBUT THURS MAY 20TH & MORE!
Hello! Welcome to the return of Miz Metro Mondayz! I’m sorry I’ve been MIA on the Bloom Blog! I’ve been in the middle of trying to graduate college! Which I did! On Friday I walked in the procession at SUNY Purchase for my degree in New Media & minor in studio composition! I’m off to Madrid for a one month summer program from May 30th-June 30th to fulfill my one last language requirement. Then I get my diploma in the mail in August! Can’t wait! I couldn’t bare learning a language in a class room, I’m excited to be immersed in the culture of Madrid and learn Spanish the right way! I’ll be doing shows throughout Europe on the weekends, and will be touring 5 countries in July starting with Italy! Can’t wait!!!

A beautiful little girl with big blue eyes hailing from London, England dreams of becoming a concert pianist at the age of 5. After years of prodigous finger duets with the ivory keys she was accepted into the highly reputable Royal Academy of Music in London. From there her triple thirds, trills and thundering technique garnered two full prestigious scholarships; one at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and the other at the University of Maryland. She also received a distinguished Steinway Piano Award. While pursuing studies of classical music she was soon attracted to the sounds of two turntables and a microphone. Hip-hop music had bounced into the room and Fiona was all ears.
