GREAT show this past Friday for my DMV debut-which was truly a historic night because it was the first show for DJ Vinyl Richie, Midi Bassist Sean Lewis, Crosby and I. It was the first time we all rocked a show together, the start of MIZ METRO’S “UNLIMITED” REMIX RIDE TOUR! Dates will be announced for the winter next month!

I’m still high off of HIP HOP HOWL! we made history this Saturday at Tompkins Sq. Park & Bowery Poetry Club! This is the first time in the history of the famous lower east side music and art festival HOWL! that a hip hop showcase was able to grace the main-stage! Grace is being polite- ROCKED is more like it- DESTROYED is fitting- the energy was through the roof! My co-presenter CROSBY, who is the executive director of HIP HOP HOWL! made this historic event possible with all his hard work, designing all graphics, producing 2 shows and organizing over 25 artists. It is a pleasure to work along side Crosby, and I am honored to be apart of the HIP HOP HOWL! organization which consists of Crosby, Marguerite Van Cook, Wesley Clouden of Nappie Corp, Fiona Bloom of the Bloom Effect, Circa *95 , Demian Faulkner, and I . We’re already planning for SXSW 2010, which is sure to be another historic event!
A HUGE THANK YOU to all the amazing artists and sponsors that were apart of this event! And to Marguerite Van Cook, the HOWL! festival director who made this event possible. For us it’s all about bringing talent together, to inspire one another- a community of rising stars who shine so bright together, our collective talent has unlimited potential.

To a packed house over 20 M.C’s from Hip Hop HOWL! along with special surprise guests, freestyled over DJ Vinyl Richie spinning fire- for 2 hours! YES, really 2 HOURS STRAIGHT! The freestyle could not be stopped, I’ve never seen anything like it before! It was absolutely incredible!! Sciryls brought up Charles Hamilton, an old friend of ours who rocked out the entire time. People can say what they want about the kid, at the end of the day he’s a someone who loves music more than anyone I know. It was good to jam with him like the good ole’ days on street corners after Urban Word slams. Check out the photos from BOWERY POETRY CLUB below!

After the show everyone kept freestyling on the street corner, we could not be stopped. Be on the look out for a collabo from Joya Bravo and I, it’s going to be HOT- she is hands down one of my favorite artists in NYC right now, we’re going to go to town on this track and show’em who runs this fine city : )

A beautiful little girl with big blue eyes hailing from London, England dreams of becoming a concert pianist at the age of 5. After years of prodigous finger duets with the ivory keys she was accepted into the highly reputable Royal Academy of Music in London. From there her triple thirds, trills and thundering technique garnered two full prestigious scholarships; one at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and the other at the University of Maryland. She also received a distinguished Steinway Piano Award. While pursuing studies of classical music she was soon attracted to the sounds of two turntables and a microphone. Hip-hop music had bounced into the room and Fiona was all ears.
