It’s true if you’ve heard...Chris Rob is shutting Live a BEST BUY down:_) Well- almost…He’s rocking one of the last few shows for this fabulous program and we’ll miss it.
Shouts to Roberto Irizarry – I gave him about 30 or so artists- Very supportive of Independent Music - All good things must come to an end I suppose!
Anyway- we’ll be around to celebrate tomorrow at Best Buy -Union Square – 4PM for the fabulously talented Chris Rob. His latest project ‘Mental Notes’ garnered a ton of critical acclaim for an EP and he’s gearing up for an album in the Fall!

In a couple weeks we’ll be blessed with an intimate live performance from the lovely and talented Sandra St. Victor- she’ll be here for 12 or so days doing dates in the U.S.
The first is at Highline Ballroom.

In her adopted home, The Netherlands, where she has already written for premier artists Gordon, Idols winner Boris, soul singer Rose, and Holland’s most successful pop/soul star Trijntje Oosterhuis, Sandra continues to perform and record, and is currently at work with the next incarnation, Sinner Child.
Stepping boldly into the changed paradigm of the music business, St. Victor is releasing a series of mini EPs, and performing special event concerts, with a view to the future.
That future is Sandra St. Victor’s Sinner Child.
5 SSV’s Sinner Child extended play singles are currently in the pipeline scheduled for distribution over 2010-2012, as well as a full length CD by The Family Stand. The Sinner Child EP format gives SSV the freedom to collaborate with a plethora of her favorite writers & producers in different genres and styles, including dance with Mark De Clive-Lowe, soul with Lalah Hathaway, Dave Hollister & Rahsaan Patterson. Rock with Nona Hendryx & Living Color’s Vernon Reid. Blues with notorious and legendary Swamp Dogg.
Sandra has written new music that has been sold at live shows in the US this past year, and this year in Europe. With her band, they are consistently writing new material that the band performs live.
Alongside these new numbers, the live show consist of covers from Jimi Hendrix to Elton John, Stevie Wonder to Larry Graham and Pink Floyd, all intermingled with her known solo hits and The Family Stand’s.
SSV’s innovative live solo concerts and appearances, which include her pet projects Daughters Of Soul, Amsterdam Celebrates, her groups The Family Stand, SSV’s Sinner Child, Sandra St. Victor Naked & Lovely (her acoustic outing), inspire and mesmerize audiences worldwide. Sinner Child further establishes Ms. St. Victor as a barrier-breaking musical trendsetter whose unique artistry puts her in a category of her very own.
