My sis just told me about a new format popping up (She’s a real computer geek). When writing this post I’m in NY and she is in Sweden, sadly enough I can’t geta hold of her to ask for the format name. ANYHOW! what this new style does is to “trick” e g mp3 players that they are playing a mp3 instead of the actual format. A “camou-format“. The soundquality is better, and the weight is lighter. Sounds like a dream doesn’t it!

I’m about to by a new harddrive for backup (knock on wood) I remember when I bought my first one, 200 Gig was seen on as pretty much. Now when shopping we are talking about Terrabite. 1000gGb = 1 Terra. Isn’t it insane! So whiles the format is getting lighter our possiblities to store info is getting humongous. My first computer that I got when I was 15-16 had 7Gigs. 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today we send attachments in mails that are 1-2. Ok maybe not really that much, but I think you hear what I’m saying.

For me..I don’t really know how to handle this. I’m a “keeper” I keep,keep,keep into the last. Till that moment when I realise I haven’t used this in 4 years or someone by accident/ purpose throws it out. Keep- Keep-Keep. My brains are going into overload that in the future I might not have the delete a single thing, like G.mail (which is a bogus thing, because they do have a limit) Picture that . Never delete an email, joke, spam, rumour, good news, mass letters, confirmations, tickets etc etc. My mind can’t handle it!

It’s like imagining that we could actively retain not so usefull info that we stored in our head 20 years back. Like that phone number you called looking for you best friend when he/she was out of town for one day. Like going back an being able to get it…there’s absolutly no interest in doing that…you don’t have any use for the number today anyhow (because our friend left 6 hours after arriving). ??? My mind would def not be able to handle that!

No, I don’t think so. So why do I ever bother to complain. I don’t have the slightest :S. Anyone  hears me??….anyone….

It always comes full circle some way or another- artists/industry you worked with - you end up coming back to them somewhere down the road- on the journey in this crazy entertainment business!

This particular situation I’m referring to Cali based R&B singer/songwriter Teedra Moses. When I used to be Dir of International Marketing at TVT Records- one of the artists I was responsible for was Teedra. I really enjoyed working with her and Tamia of Black Moses Music- it’s 2 years later - and here we are again.

‘Complex Simplicity’ was Teedra’s first release. It did extremely well in the U.K and overseas– The second album is in the works and will see a world-wide release within the next few months…

Teedra brings her classy style and sultry voice to SOB’s for the 2nd time– this time showcasing new songs off the anticipated sophomore effort ‘The Young Lioness’ which fans are eagerly awaiting.

Probably best known for 2004’s hit single “Be Your Girl”, few are aware that this multi-faceted songstress is also responsible for the hits of some of today’s top artists, having written songs for such stars as Mary J. Blige, Tierra Mari and Christina Milian and many more. First blessing S.O.B.’s stage in promotion for her well-received first album Complex Simplicity, Teedra Moses is making her return to the legendary venue on Thursday, September 25th. What a weekend. HIP HOP HOWL got rained out midway through on Saturday, big thank you to all the artists who came out-we’re working on a rain date for the “A-NY MINUTE” day show Sat Sept 20th 2-4pm at the 1st Street block party on 1st street and 1st ave next to East Village Radio. The Hip Hop Howl Presenters! (CROSBY and MIZ METRO) it was a hell of a lot of work, regardless of rain it is an amazing feeling to have brought together NY’s hottest most hard working rising stars on two bills, and one phat Mixtape!

Yesterday I was by “5th avenue Shoe Repair” preping for a photoshoot I have in next week. Their clothes are wonderfull! I’m sure they are available in NY and stateside too. I’m at the airport right now  (on my way to Munich to host for Ben Mono, the bit-hop father) check out the haute couture line that they just launched. It’s full of inspiration, skirts that are stuffed, extra arms, outward-padded shoulders, silhouettes, SILHOUETTES. The line is called ” By the No.”

Back in the 50/60/70ies the Swedish “department of domestic research” (I think that’s the right translation) was doing tons of different studies. They mapped up how much space you’ll use whiles cooking, the common “walking patterns” that occur, simply put = between which spaces you were most lightly to move on ; sink-table-sink-washingmachine-sink-stowe etc. After years of different studies they re-did the standard for kitchens. My idea was inspired by this BUT totally based on assumption.

(confirm) Who can’t resist a good spy movie with a hot babe as Tiffany Case!

I assume that he drives a scooter

(confirm) Because everyone in Italy does

I assume that he has a backwall of the Miami skyline nighttime in the office.

(confirm) it looks so darn good as backdrop in the web-cam, talking on random skype.

I assume that in the mornings he drinks a delicious morning-vanilla-protein-shake…

(confirm) Because today it seems like EVERYONE does

and I assume that he thinks: “When are they going to start making these TASTE GOOD!?”

(confirm) Because WE ALL DO!!!!

I assume that his kids don’t move out…

(confirm) my mother kicked me my siblings out today.

And I assume that they will come back later this evening

(confirm) she yelled …”do you have your keys with you ’cause I wont be home later and you have to do the grocery shopping “

I assume when he watches television, that would be from 7pm -9pm, he sits in the middle of his brown,leather, room for 3 bambams sofa.

(confirm) Makes it easier to cover all angles incase someone intrudes.

And I assume that he’s very social and goes out A LOT.

(confirm) Because he only looks at tele to 9 pm...duh!

The list goes on and on and on. And in the end you would have a copy-paste formula that you can use to become just as happy as this man. I would be able to boil it down right to the favourite spice-combo and how his dog looks like (lol it’s funny! the dog has a tie) without getting my money’s worth. What you say? good thing I didn’t persue this career as a “Lifestyle consultant”. I SURE think so!!!

Tropical rain has been crushing our Stockholm heads. Next moment lightning and the third a little glimt of sunshine. I’ve been walking a lot lately. Walking everywhere, morning walks, evening walks, night walks, internet walks, telephone walks. I like night walks best. Autmn is in the air, it has that warm woody, foggy taste. I’m looking forward to cosyiness. Nice, sweet autumnclothes-cosyiness. Attention-craving? Mais oui!!

Like the catwalk, my mood somehow switches. One for every season. There used to be 4, today there is 12(?) one for every season the retail-industry decide to change. How exciating, but what a enviromental disaster! Inside I wish that I really wasn’t so textil-cuddly. I can’t help it. I find myself jumping into it as a kid dives into the peey sea of “balls” at MikkiD’s. All for the love of itchy, static, thick textilishious love.

I can’t stop thinking about what do I need this season. Wintercoats; dun, short, long, hoody, button, zip? shoes, jacket, short, long, boots, rainboots, snowboots, umbrella, trenchcoat, hat, cap, wooly? lazer cut, handmade, fabric, hitek, grandma’d, waterproof, manproof etc How much coats can I wear at once? is this craving sane? is it alright? I bet you that it is sane to have more than 2coats, one as a jacket and another one as a pants (chris-cross style). ????

So right now, I’m walking my windowshopping walk with a facial expression that says: “OH, ooooo” (like the classic ICQ sound) A Big autmn “Oh, ooOOO”! For every window I’m stopping by, a gigantic choir in two chords stric the words ” YOOOOOUUU NEEEEDDDD IIIIItttt” (well that’s three) Yes I do!!!!! I need it, I need it, I need it, I need it. My-nice-I-do-need-attention-side told me so

I woke up this morning to a barrage of emails from various news sources confirming Bernie Mac had died early this morning in hospital in his native home Chicago.  He died from complications due to pneumonia.  Damn he was just 50!

Such a talented and entertaining artist.    This is all just too sad.

RIP Bernie Mac-   We’ll miss you!
